IF you get buffering on all channels do this.
Unplug the power cord to your cable modem for 10 minutes. During that time unplug your firestick from the wall and plug back in after your modem has come back online.
You should clear the cache every so often to help your firestick.
How to clear your cache on your firestick.
Press home on your remote.
Then go to the right till you see a wheel like icon.
Go down one then to the right, to Application. Click
on that and go down to Application manger. Click on
that and go down till you see Tivimate. Go down to the
bottom to where it says Cache and click on that.
Now hit your home button on your remote.
Make sure your modem is up to date.
If you still have that big black square modem take it in for a new one.
If you have bad wifi in that location, get either comcast extenders (recommend)
or something else, buy cheap get cheap.
Also check your internet speed.
you should have at least 800+ mbps. download.
Anything below 150 will and can cause buffering.
For AT&T customers.
If you have AT&T as your home ISP and have issues connecting to the service.
Get a Vpn or switch to another ISP provider. If using a VPN please only connect to Canada or United States anywhere else will be blocked.
If you have trouble watching some movies or tv shows. Install VLC player.
1 - Speak into the microphone on the remote and say VLC PLAYER. Then download it.
2 - Next Open Tivimate. While in full screen press the Center Circle Button on the remote and move down with the Direction Button and the all the way to the Right to settings.
3 - Go down to where you see PLAYER. Click on that and go to the bottom and click on USE EXTERNAL PLAYER. Click the last one that says VOD. Then back out of Tivimate and restart it.
This is for the paid version of tivimate only. How to add the new update to your tivimate. While on full screen tv, press the 3 lines on the remote. and then go to the far right to settings. Select PLAYLIST, the at the top you will see it say OCRIPTV, click on that. Then go down to where it says Xtremecodes Parameters, select that where it says server address, click on that and change it to "https://ocriptv.xyz:9286" and click next. Now towards the bottom you will see apply changes and if it goes well, it will process and that's it.
This is for the provided version of titvmate. Make sure if you have a fire cube (2nd gen. 4k max, firestick 3rd gen,firestick lite), if not this will not work. Press the home button and then go to settings, then go to MY FIRE TV, then click on ABOUT. On The right side it will say what version you have. If you have the correct version, then proceed, if not don't change anything.
Press home on the remote, go to the right to settings.
Move down one and the to the right where it says Application, click on that and then go down to manage installed apps, click on that and go down to tivimate and uninstall it. Now reinstall with the instruction on the website.
To use VLC Player with Tivimate on Firestick, follow these steps: 1. Download and install VLC Player on your Firestick from the Amazon App Store. 2. Launch Tivimate on your Firestick and navigate to Settings. 3. Click on the 3 lines on the remote and goto the right all the way to Settings, select the "Playback" option. 4. In the Playback settings menu, select "External Player." 5. Enable External Player by toggling the switch to the "On" position. 6. Scroll down to the "External Player Command" field and enter the following command: ``` org.videolan.vlc ``` 7. Scroll down and click on "Save" to save the changes. 8. Select the channel you want to watch and click on the "Play" button. 9. When prompted to choose a player, select "VLC Player" and click on "Always" to make it your default player. That's it! You can now use VLC Player with Tivimate on your Firestick.
